2026 IS GOING TO BE A GREAT YEAR - ASTROLOGICAL PREDICTIONS AND THOUGHTS

“You said it’s going to be a great year, but the entire world seems to be up in flames and people are suffering, how are they gonna have a good year?” is the first valid thought many of you are probably thinking. In this manner there are no “good” or “bad” years, we experience everything - even the same exact things - widely differently. But as far as collective change and energies that affect us go, there are certain years and timeframes that are ripe with leaps forward. There are also times, like 2025 was, that purge and reroute. 

It is entirely possible to ride the waves of these leaps instead of drowning in them. It starts with the absolute delusion that it is going to be a great year and whatever happens, happens for your benefit. Great doesn’t have to mean easy and ideal, that’s not usually how life is. Great means becoming more authentic, more aligned, more loving, more happy, more balanced, more you. So let’s go!

I do not wish to take credit for these predictions, because I am obviously not an astrologer. They are from a rather niche Hungarian enlightened master called Kunó (access his content here if you speak Hungarian), who I’ve followed for years and learned to trust his wisdom. I am also adding my own thoughts to make it more digestible for everyone - I do understand not all of you are spiritually aligned. 2026 is going to be A YEAR OF RENEWAL. That’s the main theme, because three slow moving planets change signs, starting new eras as they do so.

ONE: Neptune moves into Aries around the end of January, stays there until 2038

This represents the question “Who am I?”

In the 60s for example, Neptune was in Scorpio, resulting in seeking the true self through sex, freedom, rebellion, questioning, or drugs. Since 2012 it was in Pisces, so people were seeking the self through faith, spirituality, transcendence, self-awareness, or New Age philosophies. Aries represents a kickstart, finding the self in creating it - with new beginnings, practicality, and being actionable around making dreams and ideas come true.

This doesn’t mean leaving spirituality or depth behind, we are still seeking identity on a higher level, it means integrating it into our everyday lives. Getting rid of the “how do I bring my spiritual self into my work” kind of disconnect. If spirituality isn’t your thing, this can also mean bringing anything deeply personal and not widely accepted - philosophy, creativity, alternative lifestyle - into all of our daily lives.

The old system that is currently crumbling was based on the battle of good and bad. Humanity was seeking God, justice, ultimate truth, laws, rules, authority, but it is an unsustainable illusion, as when self-proclaimed “good” destroys what it deems “bad”, the damage can be devastating, as we can see with how the world is right now. Aries energy isn’t about domination, it’s about improving yourself and surpassing your own limits. Meaning integrating everything that is fully you openly and outwardly isn’t about publicly declaring it’s the right and only way, it simply exists as your own truth and growth.

The way we think about change is also shifting. Most people think of it as changing their own circumstances within set systems to have an easier or happier life. It can be investing for retirement, or even being social justice activists. We can probably fathom capitalism becoming another system, but not that gravity may change. But what is happening right now is not change, it’s an evolution that we can’t fathom yet. Like you couldn’t explain being homo sapiens to a monkey, or a world with smartphones to someone in the Middle Ages. And this doesn’t really mean physical or technological advances, but becoming a new spiritual life form, whatever that means.

So in the next decade or so a lot of “dreams” our conscious brains are trying to make come true will fail, simply because they don’t align with this evolution. We all think we know what is good for us - more money, a better job, a different prime minister, death of the patriarchy - but in these upcoming years, as we spring into action with the help of Aries, we will learn a lot about which ones are “true” dreams and which ones are illusions. And “bad” things happening will help us get there as they are lessons, exit points, or stop signs. As individuals and as a collective. Because at the end, everything is happening in our favor. 

TWO: Saturn moves into Aries in the middle of February, stays there until 2028

Saturn is the “Guardian of the Threshold" and doesn’t let you move forward until you graduate from a situation.

Many of us who have taken a path of self-discovery in the past years, whether it be digging up generational traumas in therapy, learning about economics to better your financial situation, or discovering divination, have experienced that even though we have so much wisdom and knowledge, in practicality we are still dealing with the “issues”. We still get reactive around our emotionally immature parents, we still don’t have enough money, or we are still spiritually confused. This new era will be the time of graduation, of action, breakthroughs, and actually manifesting the changes we have worked so hard for. 

START! BEGIN! After February be brave with following your ideas, ventures, experiments. It doesn’t mean you have to finish them or push them through, in this era you will be helped in distinguishing between illusions and what is truly for you. Fortune literally favors the brave in the next 12 years and many many dreams will come true.

What is also important to know is that you might move into the reality where this evolution is underway, but the majority of people sure as fuck won’t. Just because there are now humans on Earth, doesn’t mean that there are no more apes left. Many people will stick to their battle of good or bad, illusions of power and dominance (love that Kunó used the example of Trump here), a sense of control instead of trust and surrender. This era will be so much more painful for the unaware and so much more illuminating for those aware than previous years. Just because those in the dark seem to be the majority and in leadership doesn’t mean we are powerless or that they are immune to evolution. Being bitter, hopeless, or feeling like we are victims only strengthens them. Being in our power and knowing our ship has already sailed and it’s unstoppable… Now that’s a force to be reckoned with.

THREE: Uranus moved into Gemini at the end of April, stays there until 2033

This is the love affair of the planet of NEW and the sign of communication and technology.

Apparently this new isn’t updated versions of the old, but entirely brand new, which makes sense since we just covered the upcoming unfathomable evolution. Technological advances, discoveries will take place, we may even finally officially marry science and spirituality, consciousness and physics. With the rise of AI this also sounds dark and ominous, but again - this is all happening to benefit us, even the dead ends or the “bad”.

I know this was a lot, but feel free to take anything away from it, even if it’s just three words. I find this astrologer’s predictions incredibly insightful as they’re about the collective undercurrent and not the women’s magazine horoscope ( “Capricorns will get a promotion in May”) kind and fascinatingly enough both my downloads and divination and those of other masters and channelers I follow are talking about similar things.

After all, isn’t being hopeful and being in the knowledge that everything happens for you/us the biggest gift we could receive for not only 2026, but the upcoming decade? 

We are allowed to claim it as our year. Our year or renewal and leaps forward. Goddess knows, we have earned the wins.
